Spiritual Cultural Seminar
The purpose of the Spiritual Cultural Seminar is to present more in-depth information about the religious cultural exhibits featured in the Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center. For operating hours, see Schedule of Events.
Each month, a speaker presents in-depth information and background about one of the exhibit displays. Hence, the topics include key concepts of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism and Christianity. A complimentary vegetarian dinner is provided from 6-7pm. Starting at 7pm, the speaker presents the topic for that evening. Guests are invited to participate in the discussion and encouraged to ask questions. It is an opportunity to learn more about each of the religious cultures and to get to know our Docent volunteers.
