Come celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival at the Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center. Activities include the traditional Dragon Dance, several dragon boat racing activities (for kids), arts and crafts for kids and photo opportunity in our wooden dragon boat. Complimentary traditional Dragon Boat Festival vegetarian food will be served from 12-1pm. All activities are complimentary.

During your visit, you are welcome to attend tours of the Buddhist, Confucian, Taoist, Christian and Inca Cultural Exhibits, Tea Art, and a Wellness Seminar.

Come join the fun as we celebrate our 4th Annual Cultural Festival. On this day at 1pm, our Dragon Dance Team will put on a brilliant show of the Traditional Dragon Dance. Complimentary Asian food will be served from 12 PM – 1:30 PM. We will be showcasing our Dragon Boat Cart Racers, where teams of 2-5 can compete in our festive Dragon Boat Cart Race. Additionally, there will be demonstrations of flower-arranging and calligraphy.  You are welcome to tour our existing exhibits: The Buddhist, Taoist, Confucian, Christian and Inca Cultural Exhibits.

Join us as we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. We invite you to partake in our complementary food as we host a vegetarian barbecue.

2025 Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center Open Dates:

The Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center will be open 10am-4pm on the first weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month April – November. 
  

Spiritual Culture Seminar

The first weekend of each month, on Saturday night from 6pm-8pm, we will hold our Spiritual Culture Seminar. This is the opportunity to do a deep dive on the Taoist, Confucian, Buddhist and Christian display topics. Each time we meet a different topic and display will be discussed. All are welcome. Tea Art

Tea Art, in brief, is an aesthetic tea ceremony constructed for tea tasting, with people and their environment. We are tea lovers who wish to share our passion for tea and the peacefulness it brings to us! Come and join us with some good tea and a peaceful atmosphere!

Wellness Seminar

Join us to better understand the causes of illness and the power of Nature and Self-healing to create lasting health.  We will explore: different causes of illness; simple lifestyle practices that promote health; a way of eating that creates a radiant body, peaceful emotions and a clear mind; and your body’s potential for self-healing and a long health span as well as a long lifespan.
