Annual Cultural Festival
August 3, 10 AM – 4 PM EDT
Come join the fun as we celebrate our 3rd Annual Cultural Festival. This year, our Dragon Dance Team will put on a brilliant show of the Traditional Dragon Dance at 1 PM. Complimentary Asian food will be served from 12 PM – 1:30 PM. We will be showcasing our Dragon Boat Cart Racers, where teams of 2-5 can compete in our festive Dragon Boat Cart Race. Additionally, there will be flower-arranging demonstrations and calligraphy. We are excited to unveil our newest exhibit: The Christian Cultural Exhibit. The very popular Inca Exhibit will be making another appearance as well. And of course, feel free to tour our existing exhibits: The Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian Cultural Exhibits.

Come see our latest exhibit on Christianity. Explore the history and learn about the ideology of the Christian religious teachings.
2024 DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL
June 1, 2024 11 AM – 3 PM EDT
Come celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival at the Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center. Activities include several dragon boat racing actvities (for kids), arts and crafts for kids and photo opportunity in our wooden dragon constructed in Tawian. Complimentary traditional Dragon Boat Festival vegetarian food will be served from 12-1pm. All activities are complimentary.
During your visit, you can explore the many other events and activities happening at the Culture Center on June 1. There are tours of the Buddhist, Confucian and Taoist Cultural Exhibits, Tea Art, and a Health Seminar.
2024 Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center Open Dates:
April – November (First Weekend of Each Month)
The Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center will be open the first weekend of each month from April – November.
Membership is no longer required to visit the center. We are open from 10am-4pm on the first weekend of each month Saturday and Sunday.
Spiritual Culture Seminar
Discussion Group
The first weekend of each month, on Saturday night from 6pm-8pm, we will hold our Spiritual Culture Seminar. This is the opportunity to do a deep dive on the Taoist, Confucian and Buddhist display topics. Each time we meet a different topic and display will be discussed. All are welcome. Tea Art

Tea Art, in brief, is an aesthetic tea ceremony constructed for tea tasting, with people and their environment. We are tea lovers who wish to share our passion for tea and the peacefulness it brings to us! Come and join us with some good tea and a peaceful atmosphere!

Health Seminar
Available on our open Sundays
Join us to better understand the causes of illness and the power of Nature and Self-healing to create lasting health. We will begin to explore: different causes of illness; simple lifestyle practices that promote health; a way of eating that creates a radiant body, peaceful emotions and a clear mind; and your body’s potential for self-healing and a long health span as well as a long lifespan.
